Rhonda Davis, 57, of Dawsonville passed away Monday November 6, 2017 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born January 31, 1960 in Bryson City, North Carolina, she had lived in Dawson County since 1973 having moved from Cartersville. A homemaker at her death, she served many years as a Children’s Pastor. Rhonda enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A member of Chestatee Worship Center, she was preceded in death by her father, General Stepp, and a brother, Bobby Stepp.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Keith Davis, Dawsonville; children, Kris and Mandy Davis, Dahonega, Amber Askew, Cumming; grandchildren, Cherith Davis, Harley Davis, Kristian Davis, Hannah Pulley, Alyssa Pulley, Chase Askew, Mason Askew, Aidan Askew, Camden Askew, Amanda Rider; mother, Shirley Stepp, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Theresa Stepp, Cumming, Ricky and Regina Stepp, Dawsonville, Kristy Stepp, Dahlonega; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 2 o’clock at Chestatee Worship Center. Pastor Ricky Stepp will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
